Using only one straw, you can make a pretty bow (or ribbon) suitable for adding to crafts, accessories, and gifts. Follow the instructions to make your own little straw-based bow.

Cut open the part of the straw that has the flexible or concertina piece.6
Stroke down on the end with the back tip of a teaspoon. Do this until it sits flat.7
Fold this piece in half.8
Cut the center in a mountain shape, as shown in the picture.9

Create the little ring or loop that sits around the longer parts of the bow. Cut a small ring from an intact piece of straw; this will be used to slip over the longer pieces and hold them together.10
